JENABETH RUSH, M.A., L.P.C.

JENABETH RUSH, MA, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who earned her Master's Degree from St. Joseph's University in 2012. She completed her internship at Natchaug Hospital's Joshua Center, where she worked with children and adolescents in both the partial hospital and intensive outpatient treatment programs. She completed the postgraduate certification program in Internal Family Systems Therapy from Central Connecticut State University.

Ms. Rush was certified as a Grief Recovery Specialist by the Grief Recovery Institute in California. She has been certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a therapeutic approach for trauma recovery. Ms. Rush also provided clinical, group therapy, and creative arts services for adult patients with both mental health and substance abuse issues at St. Francis Hospital. She has experience with cognitive-behavioral interventions, art therapy, anger management, substance abuse/recovery, play therapy, and therapy for grief and trauma. In addition to her work as a psychotherapist, Ms. Rush is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience. She assists patients dealing with stress and pain management using a variety of holistic health and mind-body connection-based techniques.
