Jenny Gialopsos, L.C.S.W., L.A.D.C.

JENNY GIALOPSOS, L.C.S.W., L.A.D.C., A.C.S.W. is a licensed clinical social worker and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor. She received her graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and her BA in Social Work from Marquette University.

She as been in private practice since 1993. Her specialties include child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy, with special expertise in the treatment of alcohol and drug dependency and related family issues. Other primary clinical interests include anxiety and mood disorders, relationship difficulties, and women's issues. Her warm and engaging therapeutic style encompasses a range of approaches from cognitive-behavioral therapy to one that is more spiritually based.

Prior to private practice, Ms. Gialopsos was a staff member at Windsor Youth and Family Services, providing counseling services to children, adolescents and their families. She also provided employee assistance program services to the Town of Windsor employees. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
